Russian progressive rockers Starsoup have released their new single “Your World is Dead.” The song comes from their new album Castles of Sand, the band’s sophomore release.
Russian progressive rockers Starsoup have released their new single “Your World is Dead.” The song comes from their new album Castles of Sand, the band’s sophomore release. Their first record, Bazaar of Wonders came in 2013 and then the band took a break as a result of band leader Alexey Markov’s involvement in his other musical ventures Distant Sun and Garage Dayz.
The long wait has been well worth it. Castles of Sand is a more eclectic record than the first one with thrash, soft rock, progressive, folk and singer-songwriter tracks mixed together. The album may appeal to fans of Queensryche, Pain of Salvation and Circle II Circle.
