Stacey (ROM Friday Night Live) @ Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto, ON) on November 24, 2017 [Photos & Show Review]
We had the pleasure of catching Stacey perform in the C5 Lounge at the Royal Ontario Museum during the Friday Night Live series finale.
We had the pleasure of catching Stacey perform in the C5 Lounge at the Royal Ontario Museum during the Friday Night Live series finale. The audience was dressed to the nines for the opening of the Dior Exhibit, accentuating Stacey’s own classic Hollywood style.
We were treated to two sets by the sultry songstress and she did not disappoint. Her dreamy tunes had the audience hypnotized from the very start. As well as playing all of the songs of her new EP, First Move, she also dazzled us with a beautiful cover of Billy Joel’s “Vienna” and a stripped-down, soothing cover of “Build Me Up Buttercup”.
Stacey is from Toronto and was backed up by Irene Elliot on piano and Derek Hoffman on drums. Be sure to keep an eye out for her live shows, they are not to be missed!
