So, y’all will want to check out this video. Why? There’s goddamn surfing cavemen in it! Portland, Oregon’s When We Met release their 8-track album Where Did They Come From? on April 15, 2017, and today have debuted the brand new animated music video for their single “Ride The Tide”! Watch it above and grab the album via CD Baby and/or Spotify.

Thankfully, the band was available for comment and had this to say: “Underneath the new wave surf vibe is a sexy love song. The back and forth movement of lust, the up’s and downs of life and abstract thoughts formed ‘Ride the Tide’. Because we are fans of his crude imagery, playful takes on serious subject matter and taboo’s, we were thrilled to work with the cartoonist, Magnificent Kabooom for this song. With just a little direction from us, we wanted him to have the freedom to create something magnificent… And he did.”
