Newton Faulkner @ O2 Academy (Liverpool, UK) on November 8, 2017 [Photos]
Newton Faulkner plays to a packed house in Liverpool on his current headline run. Check out our photos from the show here…

English singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner is one of those artists who doesn’t need mainstream coverage for people to love him. You won’t find grubby stories of him plastered across the tabloids but, walk into any venue on his current UK tour and, as is a familiar sight, you will find the venue packed wall-to-wall, front-to-back with fans who will hang off his every word.
Liverpool is no different as fans of all ages descend on the Academy as the instantly likeable musician treats them to a career-spanning set including tracks from his current album Hit The Ground Running which was released just over two months ago. The banter between Faulkner and the crowd brings something of a unique intimacy to proceedings and make you realise exactly why there is a barely a space left in this and every venue this man sets foot in.
