Dance With The Dead @ Lee’s Palace (Toronto, ON) on November 3, 2017 [Photos & Show Review]

Dance With The Dead shook things up on November 3rd when they hit Lee’s Palace for an awesome show!

When Tony Kim of Dance With The Dead messaged me on Instagram I was kind of shocked. Here’s a musical artist I’ve been following for the past couple of years and out of the blue adds me to Instagram. We chatted briefly, I sang my praises for his music, and he appreciated my photos of Carpenter Brut last year.

When I asked him when his next show would be in Toronto, he informed me it would go down in November. And go down it did. Originally scheduled to be touring with GOST, who was denied access to our great white north, they missed this Canadian date.

Refunds were made available to those that wanted to see GOST; however, it seemed the majority of the crowd was most definitely there to see DWTD.

It didn’t take like for these two six string samurais to rip into a few well-known tracks like “Invader”, “Waves” and “Riot.” Justin Pointer was masterful during their “Master of Puppets” cover. But the best was their “Kickstart My Heart” remix. I have never heard a better version until that night. Should you see Dance With The Dead? Hard Yes!
