THE KILLING FLOOR Will Have You Howling with Their New Single “Devil Dog” [Exclusive Premiere]
Taken from their upcoming album Antisocialmedia, we’re pumped to share the new single “Devil Dog” from three-piece rock band, The Killing Floor.
Inspiration can come from anywhere, at any time. It’s best to always be prepared in case what happens out of essentially nowhere becomes something much more than a fleeting moment. Such was the case with a spooky encounter that possessed the three-piece band, The Killing Floor, to create the song “Devil Dog”. Stream the premiere today!
For those new to the group, expect the sound of raw British rock n’ roll fused with grungy American alt-rock, the same cocktail which is present on the band’s upcoming new album Antisocialmedia, which drops on Friday, October 13th. Touring throughout the UK, The Killing Floor are garnering comparisons to Queens of The Stone Age, Muse, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Nirvana.
Then guys were kind enough to drop us an exclusive quote about this new single: “One afternoon the band was driving through the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania when we encountered a very large black dog with red eyes in the middle of the road. As our van approached, the beast didn’t move. It just stared at us with its big red eyes, and we were all forced to stare back in disbelief as we slowly drove around it. Someone said what the rest of us were thinking and called it a Devil Dog. We wrote the song in his honor so he wouldn’t come back for our souls.”
