France’s gloom and doom post-metallers Stonebirds have released a new track called “Shutter Part II” from their sophomore album Time. The track deals with the topic of climate change, while the band inject a sense of fear and hopelessness with their post-metallic riffs.
In their career, Stonebirds have shown the ability to write deeply emotional and complex songs. Time was recorded at Kerwax Studio and is both heavy and dark, replying on spine-tingling atmospheric climaxes. The band has lived up to the expectations built buy their stellar debut while delivering an ambitious record that establishes them as a singular voice in heavy music today.
