On September 18, 2017, Swiss band Kill The Unicorn are set to release their new single “F.U.C.K.U.P.” but you can hear the track exclusively right here.

Of the song, the band said: “F.U.C.K.U.P. stands for First Universal Cybernetic-Kinetic Ultra-Micro Programmer. It’s a computer out of the novel Illuminatus! by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson, which was inspiring literature to Karl Koch, a German Hacker-Pioneer who was active during the 80s. With the nickname “Hagbard Celine” he used to do jobs for the Russian KGB, was a member of the SPD and a true anarchist. It’s said that Karl Koch was the first Hacker ever, who got himself in the system of a nuclear facility. Due to his lifestyle (he used to take a lot of drugs- usually cocaine and cannabis) he turned quite paranoid. He was found burned out in a wood and the circumstances around remained mysterious. F.U.C.K.U.P. is about this drug resulted paranoia, stuck in this Hacker-Cyberworld of Hagbard Celine inspired by the subversive novel Illuminatus!”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
