I, THE DREAMER Are On The “Rise” With their New Single [Exclusive Video Premiere]
I, The Dreamer are premiering their new single, “Rise”, below and have announced a run of UK dates.
UK post-hardcore band I, The Dreamer are set to release their new record Shadow Hearts on September 15, 2017 through Standby Records. Ahead of the release the band are premiering their new single “Rise” and have announced a run of UK dates.
James from the band commented: “‘Rise’ is about someone who cannot cope with the trials of life but never wants to do anything to help themselves. Instead they hurt the people around them and “Rise” is from the point of view of all the friends trying to stand by them. The song is huge and symphonic but has an underlying melancholy theme.
“The music video shows a talented dancer struggling to master her art as she practises over and over. As soon as she steps out of her comfort zone she trips up and stumbles at each obstacle. In the end it becomes too much and, like too many people in the world today, she gives up.”
UK Tour Dates:
09/12 – Manchester – Aatma
09/13 – Leeds – Santiago Bar
09/14 – London – Surya
09/15 – Cardiff – Fuel
09/16 – Birmingham – Asylum 2
