We’ve partnered up with St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador-based metallic quartet The Combine to debut their sophomore full-length recording Void and Vessel ahead of its upcoming independent August 25th release. The new album was entirely self-recorded and mixed by group in their home studio with mastering done at Sweden’s Fascination Street Studios courtesy of the talented Jens Bogren. The badass album art was created by Richard Briceland.

We connected with the dudes via the interwebs for an exclusive comment on the music to which they replied with: “Void and Vessel is our second full-length album, in the works since 2013. It’s a prog-metal voyage through space, and we pushed ourselves to our limits many times over while recording it. The songs are bigger and better that what we’ve done before, and we experiment with a lot of new sounds and styles. We’re beyond excited to finally get these songs out into the world, and hope that fans can find something to like along the way.”
