New York rock quartet Superfecta released their 2-song Made to Break single on June 2nd, 2017, and today we’re pleased to have teamed with the guys to offer a free download of the track “Simple Lines”! The guys hit us up and commented on the single saying, “On ‘Simple Lines’ we wanted to mix a folk ballad with heavy/progressive rock ideas, Superfecta style. Dialing in the effects later totally went against our usual overdubbing approach, but the song called for that. We loved the creative chaos of patching in multiple fuzz and modulation pedals! Using whole takes, and reducing our usual obsession over imperfections, allowed for us to capture the unexpected musical movements and tension you get in our live performances.”
