Metallica (Festival d’été de Québec) @ Plains of Abraham (Quebec City, QC) on July 14, 2017 [Photos]
Metal icons Metallica invaded Quebec City’s historic Plains of Abraham for a nearly 3-hour musical assault.
Metal icons Metallica invaded Quebec City’s historic Plains of Abraham for a nearly 3-hour musical assault. Opening with an Ennio Morricone song and closing with “Enter Sandman”’s bombast accompanied by fireworks, the band played a stellar set to a massive crowd that had to be close to 100,000 metal fans. Metallica played their 1st show here in 1985 and the love they have for the city, and the love the city gives back, made for an amazing show that will be talked about for years to come.
