Chattanooga, TN is where your bound to run into the singer/songwriter Leah Martin who is gearing up to release her new 5-track EP titled Freedom Beckons. With the recording’s lead single “Breathe Into Me” recently debuted by huffingtonpost.com, we’re stoked to be able to premiere the second single, “Calling Angels”.

New to Leah and her music? Never fear, that’s what we’re here for! The EP’s tunes were written, arranged and recorded by Anupam Shobhakar (producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist) and includes a rotating cast of 10 killer musicians including Shobhakar and Joel Harrison on guitars and guests such as Santiago Liebson (piano & organ), Michael Sutton (drums & percussion), Michael Gam (bass), Phillip Chaiken (bass), Trina Ramamurthy Basu (violin), Kensuke Shoji (violin), Megumi Saruhashi (viola) and Adam Maalouf (cello).

Stream the track today, grab the EP when it drops this summer and get ready for a full-length that’s slated for release in early 2018.

Leah was kind enough to drop us a note and quote about the single, saying: “‘Calling Angels’ for me is coming from a place of complete brokenness and vulnerability. I was truly calling to the Angels and pleading for help. They are right there ready to help. All you have to do is ask… and say thank you.”
