Taking bass house on a dark ride, Croatian electronic artist Matroda has released the title track to his Dim Mak debut EP BO$$. Incorporating retro rave elements on the title track and percussive shuffles on tracks like “Black To The Basics,” Matroda has distinctly warped the genre into one of his own making.
Matroda has demonstrated an unrivaled inventiveness and non-stop work ethic in his career that stems from his many years of classical training in violin, drums, and keyboard. He has channeled this background into new territory and burst into the spotlight with his official remix of SNBRN’s “California,” which was in collaboration with Chris Lake. Since then, Matroda has tour the world, showcasing his completely original take on bass infused dance music.
