Premiere time! Twin Peaks, Washington is where you’re bound to find Jasyn Bangert conjuring up his next musical move. The co-founder of American dark electronic/industrial act God Module, active since 1999, needed another “outlet to explore his musical ideas and styles” and as such, Hexheart was born.
Much more than merely a side project, Hexheart sees Bangert exploring darkwave, synth and even post-punk to create a new yet still dark and brooding sound. Working with Andrew Pearson (synths, backing vocals) and Patrick Hogan (guitars), the trio hunkered down and returned with their debut offering Midnight On A Moonless Night – the ideal musical accompaniment to your next Absinthe bender. Hexheart composer and vocalist Jasyn Bangert commented on the new release: “This record has been wanting to exist for a long time now. While it is very different than my other work it is nothing new to me. I think that exactly like my work with God Module, Hexheart is just a raw reflection of who I am. This time it is just focusing on a part of me that has only made rare appearances here and there over the years.”
