CYMBALS Unveil “Car Crash,” New Stream from ‘Light In Your Mind’
The London-based duo of Jack Cleverly and Dan Simons, or as they are also known, Cymbals, have released their latest single “Car Crash.”
The London-based duo of Jack Cleverly and Dan Simons, or as they are also known, Cymbals, have released their latest single “Car Crash.” The song comes from the guys’ second album Light In Your Mind, out August 25th through Tough Love Records. The album is their first new material in over year years and the follow up to The Age of Fracture.
Regarding “Car Crash,” Cleverly shared, “song is about impossible love, like a slow-motion car crash, or a river that is always moving. It was written quietly on acoustic guitar, in a confessional way. Dan then reworked it, putting that emotional vulnerability inside this bigger electronic sound, exposing it, turning negative energy positive.”

Smash Mouth: “I want it to be exciting, regain that excitement and still have that Smash Mouth feel.”
