Danish heavy hitters Volbeat came out to Portland, Maine’s Maine State Pier on May 13th and opened up the concert season out on the docks by the harbor with a bang!

Volbeat is currently on a spree of dates with Metallica with several off-dates like this one in between. Crossover thrash band Iron Reagan opened for Volbeat on this and several other off-dates. Both bands put on killer performances, with Iron Reagan getting the crowd amped up and Volbeat kicking things up several notches with their set.
