Steve Aoki has taken some time out to remix the track “The Best,” from the experimental punk outfit Mangchi, led by notorious artist David Choe. The boastful lyrics don’t like when they said, “it’s the motherfucking best.” The artwork for the release is an original piece by David Choe and features his signature Munko whales.
Earlier this year, Choe and Aoki collaborated at the January North American launch of the Dim Mak Collection (DMC) at New York Fashion Week. Several of Choe’s illustrations were incorporated onto items within the DMC Fall/Winter 2017 collection and Mangchi, performed live during the DMC NYFW17 presentation.
