We’re “Loving” LAND OF TALK’s New Song Stream

Land of Talk, led by Elizabeth Powell, have shared the third single for “Loving” off of their long-awaited new album Life After Youth. The album was produced and mixed by John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth) and Jace Lasek (Besnard Lakes), and features Sharon Van Etten, Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), Sal Maida (Roxy Music/Sparks) and The Besnard Lakes.

Life After Youth is a set of songs that got Powell through tough times and now she feels that these tracks can do the same for listeners. There have been many ups and downs in the over ten-year history of Land of Talk. Powell has lived from Montreal to Orillia to Toronto to New Jersey and back to Montreal again. From that mental and geographic scramble, Powell has been able to come up with an album of great focus. It’s been a long, winding, back and forth road, but Life After Youth is Land of Talk’s best work yet.
