Toronto-based rapper, Cadence Weapon (aka Roland “Rollie” Pemberton) has premiered a track called “Connor McDavid.”
Toronto-based rapper, Cadence Weapon (aka Roland “Rollie” Pemberton) has premiered a track called “Connor McDavid.” The song is about the young hockey superstar that currently plays for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League. The song follows the release of “My Crew (Woooo),” the first new release from Cadence in five years. Cadence himself was born in Edmonton so the influence that hockey and the Oilers has over Edmonton is well known to him.
