Sweden’s progressive rock/metal collective, Wolverine, have been hard at work promoting their latest album, Machina Viva, which dropped last July, via Sensory Records – Order your copy here – and we’re pumped to help continue that! Soon to begin a European tour with support from Oddland and Until Rain, we’ve partnered up with the guys to premiere the brand new video for their single “Pledge”.

The group recorded/produced Machina Viva in different spots across Sweden and mixed it in Germany at Spacelab Studio with Christian “Moschus” Moos (Everon, Haken, Delain, Cloverseeds), with mastering by Bob Katz. Hit play, grab the album, and if you’re in Eurozone, get your tickets to a gig at this location.

Commented Thomas Jansson of the upcoming trek: “At the end of April we will hit the road for a European co-headline tour together with Until Rain and Oddland. All three bands being Sensory label artists, this tour-package will offer the listener a vivid spectrum of explorative music, mainly in the sphere of progressive metal.”

And here’s what Stefan said about the new music video: “I had a hard time getting into this song and at first we were gonna have Thomas write lyrics for it. He wrote quite an impressive piece of lyric to it but it was written in a way that didn’t really fit me as a singer. I decided to have a try and I am really pleased with the way the vocal melodies turned out. It went from a song I didn’t like that much to being one of my favorites.”
