Nashville, TN-base alternative rock duo, The Ivins, are set to release their new full-length album, The Code Duello, on April 28th (pre-order here) and today we’re pleased to premiere the band’s song “Out Of Air” which features a guitar solo from Bill Leverty of American Music Award-winning ’90s hard rockers, Firehouse.

The Code Duello was recorded in New York City, Nashville and Virginia with help from a tremendous slew of industry veterans including Grammy winner Michael Rosen (AFI, Papa Roach), Grammy nominee Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, The Killers), American Music Award winner Bill Leverty (Firehouse), Interscope Records co-founder Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, RATT) and Anthony “Rocky” Gallo (Seether, The xx).

Vocalist and guitarist Jim Ivins commented on the album, saying: “Stylistically, I call this a ‘3:00 A.M. album,’ describing the vibe of the music as the sound of walking through the Lower East Side of Manhattan at 3:00 A.M., inebriated and wearing sunglasses – think Stereophonics, Arctic Monkeys & 30 Seconds To Mars.”
