This Friday, April 21st, Cleveland’s Hiram-Maxim will release their sophomore full-length recording, Ghosts, via Aqualamb Records – pre-order your copy RIGHT HERE. In support of the new material, we’ve partnered up with the band to premiere the spooky video for their equally kick-ass song “Ghosts.”
The noisy quartet, who offer up a sweet concoction of doom, shoegaze, psych and ambient sounds, worked with director Rustin McCann and Sian Wright (gaffer/creative consultant) on this clip.
Commented McCann on the video: “For me, the whole vibe with Hiram-Maxim is a sonic exploration of the space between life and death. For ‘Ghosts,’ I wanted to show the energy of the band, but also tell an ambiguous, spooky story. In the B-story, the implication is that this character may be dead and haunting our world, but may instead be a magical creature exploring limbo.”
Ghosts Track Listing:
01. Behind the Blindfold
02. Drown
03. Witchhunt
04. Burn
