Danny Brown headlined the Wednesday night Mazda Studio @ Empire party, playing a set at 1AM. He played banger after banger, performing tracks such as “Blunt After Blunt”, “Dip”, “Smokin & Drinkin”, and “25 Bucks”. The crowd was super into it, even though it was a late-night performance. I was originally going to cover the IHeartComix showcase at clearport, but before I could even take my camera out during ho99o9’s set, the show got shut down by fire marshals.
After that show got shut down, my immediate reaction was “oh (expletive). I need to run over to Danny Brown right now and see if I can get in!”
