SMALLTOWN DJS Give a Taste of Canada with “Erased The Night” Stream
Smalltown DJs head for the stars on Erased The Night, a 120 minutes-worthy slice of funky, electronic indie pop.
Smalltown DJs head for the stars on Erased The Night, a 120 minutes-worthy slice of funky, electronic indie pop. The album features vocals from Lisa Lobsinger (Broken Social Scene, Reverie Sound Revue). The Canadian threesome has a lot in common, including a love for drum machines, love songs and hockey, which sounds very Canadian to us (at least the third thing).
The Smalltown DJ sound is fun bass-heavy house music, combining the spirit of Canada’s outdoor electronic music festivals like Shambhala and Bass Coast, with the sound they innovated and perfected at the legendary Hifi Club in Calgary which the guys own and operate. Most recently, the DJs have released music on various labels, including Fool’s Gold, Sweat It Out!, Mad Decent, Main Course, and more.
