Perth-based psychedelic rockers Pond has released “The Weather”, the closer from their upcoming album of the same name.
Perth-based psychedelic rockers Pond has released “The Weather”, the closer from their upcoming album of the same name. The album is due out May 5th via Marathon Artists.
The album is expected to feature lyrical themes on the current geopolitical situation and on moral issues faced around the world. This is in the same vein as previous tracks by the band, such as “30000 Megatons”, which features lyrics about nuclear threats, and “Sweep Me Off My Feet”, which is about romantic escapism.
The band has sets lined up at 2017’s Coachella as well as a North American tour. Following this, they are expected to embark on a European tour, including their biggest London show so far at the O2 Forum Kentish Town.
