LONELY THE BRAVE Stream Cover of THE WALKMEN’s “The Rat”

After a great 2016 for the band that included a No. 1 album on the rock chart, Lonely The Brave are keeping up their prolific pace with a cover of the track “The Rat” by The Walkmen. “The Rat” is a left-field take on an already excellent track, one that showcases David Jakes’ peerless vocals and one that will hopefully attract the band to a whole new audience. The band is notorious for great covers, including remakes of songs by Cyndi Lauper, Bjork, Pink Floyd and Antony & The Johnsons.

Alongside the new EP Diamond Days, coming March 24th through Hassle Records, Lonely The Brave will be supporting British alt-rockers Mallory Knox on their UK tour spanning March and April 2017, featuring dates in Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Bristol and both Mallory Knox and the band’s hometown of Cambridge.
