“I Saw You Close Your Eyes”, the new single from L.A.’s Local Natives is now available on Loma Vista Recordings.
The song was debuted on Wednesday via CloseYourEyes.net, which has a facial recognition element that only plays the song when it detects closed eyes facing a computer’s camera. The track is their first new song since their latest album, Sunlit Youth.
The band recently featured on the first episode of “Music Happens Here”, Spotify’s new original series. The series studies locations that have inspired music, with this episode exploring Los Angeles, the band’s hometown. It documents the band recording a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Tusk” at the city’s iconic Village Recording Studio, where Fleetwood Mac originally recorded the track. The cover can be heard below.
