This was by far the earliest day for us at SXSW, as WWE superstar John Cena was speaking at the convention center at 9:30 am.
This was by far the earliest day for us at SXSW, as WWE superstar John Cena was speaking at the convention center at 9:30 am. We made our way up to the front row (generally reserved for media) and watched him talk at length with FOX Sports host Katie Nolan. Cena talked about how WWE is a year-long operation, how they do over 250 shows a year, and also about how he is a major wish granter for the Make-A-Wish foundation. He walked off stage to his theme song and a raucous applause.
