Fort Collins, Colorado’s synth-punk group, Slow Caves, are now streaming the second single “Glares” from their upcoming Desert Minded EP, due out March 10th via Old Flame Records. The group have also confirmed a slew of March tour dates supporting the new release.

The band commented on the track as follows: “‘Glares’ was the first song we wrote together as a band. A lot of our earlier songs were constructed and recorded before we ever played them together. In ‘Glares,’ you can hear the beginning of the sound we are striving for with Slow Caves. The song is about defying people’s expectations and obligations that are cast upon you. It can be scary and you are often met with unwanted explanations and criticisms from people. It’s pretty dynamic and moody which is something we can all relate to. It’s also really fun to jump around to and play live.”
