Korn Interview with James “Munky” Shaffer on Grammy Awards, Favourite Song, Brad Pitt and Tomb Raider – New Noize #26
Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer chats about the Grammys, his favourite Korn song, how Jonathan Davis thinks Korn is not a metal band, their Hollywood fan in Brad Pitt, Tomb Raider and much more!
We were recently afforded some interview time with Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer and took the opportunity to chat about the band’s Grammy nominations/wins over the years. The multi-platinum (and two time Grammy Award-winners) were up for 2016’s “Best Metal Performance” with their song “Rotting in Vain” off their Nick Raskulinecz-produced album The Serenity of Suffering.
A kind and mellow Munky discussed Grammy Awards, his favourite Korn song ever, how Jonathan Davis thinks Korn is not a metal band, their Hollywood fan in Brad Pitt, Tomb Raider and much more!
