DevilDriver @ The Phoenix (Toronto, ON) on February 15, 2017 [Photos]
Californian metallers, DevilDriver (Napalm Records) brought their brand of “groove metal” to The Phoenix on February 15th and warmed up a frigid Toronto night!
A club full of moshing metalheads was the perfect way to warm up on a frigid Toronto night. Californian metallers, DevilDriver brought their brand of “groove metal” to The Phoenix on February 15th and metal fans were busy moshing and crowd surfing. As surfers were quickly pulled by the awesome security staff over the barrier to safety, one by one they ran back into the crowd to do it again. I couldn’t help notice the look of sheer joy on the faces of surfers who successfully made it to the front. Guitarists Mike Spreitzer and Neil Tiemann, along with bassist Diego “Ashes” Ibarra, drummer Austin D’Amond and, of course, Dez Fafara, looked to be having just as much fun!
