It’s Friday, so that means new music. Today we’re happy to help Boston, MA-based rock band, blindspot, to premiere a full stream of their debut album, blindspot. The female-fronted group formed about two years ago and is led by Alexa Economou and her soaring vocals. Dig rock in the vein of U2, The Killers, Paramore, Kings of Leon, and/or Neon Trees? You’ll enjoy blindspot.

Incredibly, in their short existence the trio have already shared the stage with acts the likes of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Gin Blossoms, Candlebox, Plain White T’s, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Finger Eleven, Fuel, Saving Abel, Smile Empty Soul, and Tantric. If that’s not enough motivation for you, and you’re in the area, be sure to hit The Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA on Saturday the 25th, for the group’s album release show with Aeronaut Down, Carissa Johnson, and Wonder City supporting.

blindspot lead singer Alexa Economou commented on the EP, “We have put our whole heart and soul into this EP and are stoked with the results. We truly feel as if this EP embodies who we are as a band and what our sound is meant to be. We can’t wait for people to hear these songs and learn what blindspot is all about.”

On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
