On February 2, 2017, Round 7 of the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise set sail from Fort Lauderdale, FL. with 3000 fans excited to embark on 4 nights of pure metal debauchery featuring 61 bands on 4 stages aboard Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. The beer was flowing at the Dog and Badger English Pub as Metalheads from 74 countries awaited the start of the night’s shows. Trauma kicked off the floating festival followed by tons of bands including Amaranth, DevilDriver, Arch Enemy, Trauma, Unleashed, and many more.
