Toronto, Canada’s hard/stoner rock band, Slow Death Lights, are streaming the single “City of Lights” off their upcoming self-titled debut full-length album, Slow Death Lights, which drops on March 3rd.
This first single has more of an old school/late 70’s hard rock vibe, production and all. The band “wanted to make sure the album represented them sonically and with the help of co-producer Brant Bjork [Kyuss, Fu-Manchu] they were able to convey their live energy on the recording.” Some of Slow Death Lights was recorded straight to tape at Brant Bjork’s studio in Joshua Tree, while the rest was done in Toronto.
