Not for the faint-hearted, touring rock circus the Circus Of Horrors returned to the road for an incredible 21st year of shocking audiences across the world. The 2017 show, entitled “The Never-ending Nightmare”, was loosely based around an Alice In Wonderland theme and saw a mix of old favourite and new acts wowing fans at the York Barbican early on in a run of dates that will take them across the UK right through to the end of the year.

From sword-swallowing to audience participation, the Dr.Haze and his Circus freaks had fans on the edge of their seats again with the whole thing backed up by a thumping rock soundtrack. For nearly two hours, the Circus Of Horrors gave hardcore fans exactly what they wanted and expected throwing in a few surprises along the way.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
