The Sly Persuaders are a South London, England based garage rock who just released a stream of the single “Watch & Learn” taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut. The Sly Persuaders is due out on February 24, 2017 via Roadkill Records and features cover artwork by Marc Crane.
The band also has a record release show scheduled for the same day as the album’s release. The gig will take place London’s Nambucca with blues-rock heavyweights Saint Agnes and Bridport Dagger. Recorded at the Music Complex in Deptford, it was frontman Chris Blake and engineer Chris Mansell that had the tough job of capturing such a precise sound to record. The self-tiled result is made up of nine gloriously produced garage-pop gems that not only convey the band’s live energy, but also refine and direct it into a concise and vital collection.
