Formed in 1987, the Dominican Republic-based thrash/doom metal legends Abaddon RD are one of the best bands you’ve never heard of. Born and bred in a small scene in a country that doesn’t embrace and revere metal the way many other parts of the world does, Abaddon RD have been toughing it out for nearly 3 decades, independently releasing 5 albums along the way.

Today, we have the great pleasure of sharing with the world the brand new music video for the group’s thrash-tastic song, “Hungry For The Kill”. With English lyrics, the track is a revamped version of the original released in 1989. Taken from Abaddon RD’s latest album, Tragic Eternal Mutation (released December 1st, 2015 via Pantano Records), we’re sure you’re going to have a thrash attack.

Said the band about the music video: “The video is about a VHS tape found in a kid´s playground containing the reflection of mankind and its need to kill, the character goes through multiple career changes until is satisfied after murder and finally turning into the monster which ends killing himself. It was shot inside and outside the Pantano studios with Junior Casanova as main character, and it was edited in the course of last year with Haniel Sosa working as director and special effects. It is the second professional video done by the band with Sosa and it turned out to an awesome experience and outstanding work.”
