OK, so the deal is that Dot Dash are pretty killer and you should hear their music. The group is from Washington, DC – features Terry (guitar/vocals), Steve (guitar), Hunter (bass), and Danny (drums) – and some of their former bands included Julie Ocean, Minor Threat (Dischord label), Government Issue, The Saturday People (Slumberland), glo-worm (K), Tree Fort Angst (Bus Stop), St. Christopher (Sarah), and Swervedriver (Creation), among others.

Today we’re pleased to offer a free download of the guys’ 2 minutes-long song “Holly Garland” taken from their newest release Searchlights, out now via Ottawa, Canada-based label The Beautiful Music. Check out the tune above and, for anyone who orders the new CD, also gets free digital downloads of all five previous Dot Dash albums.

Born in 2003, V13 was a socio-political website that, in 2005, morphed into PureGrainAudio and spent 15 years developing into one of Canada's (and the world’s) leading music sites. On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
