Those new to Belgium’s King Hiss should note that the quartet play hard stoner rock and, long story short, need to be added to your rock radar as soon as possible! And, to help with that very process, we’re pleased to present an exclusive premiere of the band’s brand new song “We Live In Shadows”.
“We Live In Shadows” is taken from the guys’ forthcoming 10-track album, Mastosaurus. Due out on October 31, 2016 (and you can pre-order it here), Mastosaurus boasts some absolutely stunning album artwork by Robin Clarijs. Check out the title track’s lyric video below too.
Said King Hiss about the recording and this new song: “Our new album Mastosaurus contains 10 songs that follow a pitch-black storyline. The album portrays the epic adventure of a doomed antihero, fighting the demons in his head. The long, brave battle and the refusal to simply accept an impossible fate. This particular track, ‘We Live In Shadows,’ tells that when all hope is gone, the protagonist turns to a black wizard and he hopes to make a deal with him. The black wizard warns him that there’s no turning back once the pact is sealed.”
