Opening up for the biggest metal band in the world, Volbeat had a tough job to do, but did extremely well given the circumstances. Playing to a half empty stadium (or half full depending on how you look at it), they managed to get the cold crowd warmed up as the daylight pierced its way through the new stadium’s top windows. People were dancing, screaming, and crowd surfing upon request from guitarist and vocalist Michael Poulsen. Minnesota loves Volbeat and I’m sure would love to have them back very soon!
