The unsigned St. Catharines, ON threesome, Output, are back once again with new music! This time around we’re pleased to premiere their song “Swell”. Running just under two minutes in length, “Swell” will hit you hard, leave you dazed and disappear before you’ve even had a chance to realise what just happened. The good news? You can now hear it over and over again!

Said the band about the new song: “‘Swell’ was recorded back in May alongside our previous single ‘Sad Excuse’. It was one of those songs where we had written all of the music first, and I (Dre) had to piece together lyrics afterwards and make something that I deemed compelling. I sat down a few times previous to those recording sessions scribbling away but just wasn’t satisfied with where I was at. Finally, one night it all just kinda poured out of me, and there it was. To me, the track is an obvious reflection of how I felt in that exact moment, struggling to find the brighter side of things and just being way too hard on myself. I’m sure you can dissect the lyrics in different ways to try finding a deeper meaning but to me, it’s just a simple release of insignificant daily frustrations.”
