We used to be new to Chillicothe, Ohio progressive hardcore quintet Forest Wars, but then they wowed us with their music and we teamed up to offer a free download of their track “Running on Empty (Me and You)”. Well, it’s been about 4 months since that posting and now we’re back with yet another free track, “Worship and Slaughter”.

The gents are currently planning a full release for October 28, 2016, but figured they’d start getting people stoked on their new slew of progressive hardcore music with a download of the album’s single and title track. So, get downloading, share the music with your hardcore homies, and familiarise yourself with the group’s sweet mixture of both powerviolence and ambient music, which results in, as they put it, “a perfect balance of extreme heaviness and subtle breaks of elegance.”
