We are pleased to help introduce you to, or just to bring you more rad music, from Philadelphia based SPiN with a free download of their killer new track “My Hysteria.” The band has more than 9,000 likes on Facebook so they must be doing something right! Grammy-nominated producer/engineer Luke Tozour (P!nk, Katy Perry, Mika) perhaps describes SPiN’s sound the best when he recently described their sound as “classic epic songwriting with a modern pop twist!” This isn’t just some garage band either as they’ve been fortunate enough to receive tons of commercial airplay, most notably with the song “Happy Together” which was featured in full on the CBS show “Stalker” and reached #1 on the iTunes indie rock charts.

It doesn’t stop there though. SPiN have had their songs appear on networks such as NBC, MTV, VH1, Spike TV, Bravo, History Channel, IFC, MuchMusic, and Travel Channel. Their powerpop version of “Silent Night” was used in commercials for the movie Scott Pilgrim Vs the World that was a hit a few years back. One of the coolest facts about this band is that they have their very own recording studio, not in some boring actual studio, but in a 150 year old funeral home that they have called Dead Handsome Studios. Must be some good vibes going from all those dead people! SPiN have been happy to tour with the likes of Halestorm, Fuel, Hinder, Sponge, SafetySuit, Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, Red, Fat Joe and Charm City Devils.
