Frontman, George Peploe, a British kickboxing champion, says of the single: “‘4AM’ is about a time when my ex would call me up, drunk and bragging that she is seeing someone else. There was this attitude that she was ‘winning’ the break up, but I soon came to realise that if she was so happy and so comfortable, then why would she need to tell me? People have experienced both sides of this story and I feel the to-the-point lyrics show the raw honesty and emotion of a break up that so many people have been through.”
