Heart – “Beautiful Broken” [Album Review]
After forty years of rocking out to the masses, Canadian sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson are still kicking asses as we discovered on their sixteenth studio album. Read our review here…
The diversity of sound which Ann and Nancy Wilson offers up to the music world has been a major part of their success, so there is no surprise that after forty plus years of rocking out the masses, the duo known as Heart, are still kicking asses and taking names.
On July 8th, 2016, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers released their sixteenth studio album, this helping of tunes, entitled, Beautiful Broken consists of two new songs and eight re-interpretations of previously released songs from various Heart albums.
It is safe to say that Ann and Nancy have not lost their edge with age, they are like a fine wine, sweeter with time, and I assure you that the fan of Heart’s music will not be let down with this album.
