Due out on August 5th via Luxor Records, the upcoming album Abstention of Interference, is the debut full-length release from Michigan progressive metal fivesome, From Blue to Gray. Produced by Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, The Contortionist) the recording is going to sit extremely well with anyone that likes their metal heavy. This all said, today we have the pleasure of premiering the new single “Forceful Stare” which also features a guest appearance from John Matos of Abiotic.

Said the band’s guitarist, Tim Drexler, of the song: “‘Forceful Stare’ was written during a transitional period in the band. If the record itself conveys a ‘fed up with everything’ feeling, then this is perfect track to represent that mentality. Not only lyrically, but musically as well. For me, it’s one of the most intense and angry songs I’ve ever contributed music for and when I listen to it now, it reminds me to stay pissed. Maybe one day I’ll move on from my own anger, but for the time being, I find it important to be angry about things. It forces me to try to be better in a weird sort of way.”
