Coldfront – “Is This Where They Found You?” [EP] [Album Review]
Coldfront’s sound is something all pop punk fans will appreciate, and it’s an EP that will one hundred percent leave you wanting more.
Do you ever wish you could go back to your days of pop punk youth? Well, if the idea of moshing in a crowd of sweaty teenagers doesn’t sound very enticing, we’ve got something a hundred times better for you. Oakville, Ontario-based pop punk group Coldfront just released their new EP This Where They Found You?, which also marks their debut for New Damage Records.
With a sound that all pop punk fans will appreciate, the new EP will one hundred percent leave you hungry for more. Thomas Stewart’s vocals and yelling are both full of energy and determination, and the band itself is incredibly tight. Tracks “Molly Blooms” and “Up” are definitely highlights and now favourites of mine.
Coldfront played their first-ever show at Warped Tour 2013 near their hometown in Toronto, and have since gone on to release three EPs – there’s no doubt that this quintet has talent! They got a bunch of Canadian shows coming up with Seaway, but in the meantime, get to listening to This Where They Found You?.
