Modern Space – “It’s Only a Dream” [Song Review]
Toronto-based alt-rockers Modern Space release a new single from their Before Sunrise EP. Read our review here…
Toronto-based alternative band, Modern Space, are relatively new to the music scene, but their music can in no way be described as “amateur”. The Canadian five-piece recently released their debut EP, Before Sunrise, which features seven songs including their latest single “It’s Only a Dream”.
Much like the EP as a whole, “It’s Only a Dream” is catchy, funky and fresh, with a really psychedelic feel to it. You don’t hear a lot of alternative bands feature a horn section, but this song has that as well as a jazzy organ which helps drive the track along.
Singer Sean Watson Graham also has the kind of unique voice that demands attention when behind the mic. Hands down this is an extremely good song and, if it is any indication of what they have to offer with their sound, Modern Space are sure to quickly win themselves a plethora of new fans.
