Originally formed in January of 2014 in Australia, Shikobi are a modern rock quartet which now call Los Angeles home. Once the Hession brothers hit US soil, they manage to link up with other like-minded musicians and finalise their current line-up – Aaron Hession (vocals), Luke Hession (guitar, vocals), Marco Barrientos (bass), and Dylan Hayden (drums).

Boasting a special mixture of experimental hard rock, funk and hip-hop, Shikobi are now getting ready to release their debut EP, Pull The Trigger, on September 23, 2016. Similar to early Linkin Park, Rage Against The Machine, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the 4 tracks on Pull The Trigger will sit very well with anyone that likes their hard rock with some groove or funk.

This all said, we’re excited to help the guys premiere their new song “Here We Go Again”. Said Aaron Hession of their music: “We cannot ignore and must address key social issues. But there is a time to dance, love, party, and celebrate the lighter side of life.”
